Beijing Hua Du distillery was established in 1976. It started making the widely popular baijiu (white liquor) Er Guo Tou with focus on quality and value. Hua Du was the first state-owned distillery in Beijing, built on April 19, 1949. It is the only enterprise in Beijing area that has the production capacity of three kinds of flavor liquors: sauce aroma, strong aroma and light aroma. In November 2015, it officially became a subsidiary of Beijing Ershang Group Co. Ltd. and Beijing Sugar Industry Tobacco and Alcohol Group Co.,Ltd..
